Overview

The Section is a very distinctive wing with a very thin leading edge that thickens at the back. The slats are tapered and the line length has been reduced. From take-off the wing responds immediately to the controls and is very stable at zenith. When sailing, the Section develops a homogeneous power which facilitates the relaunch in surfing, because the profile of the wing brings a lot of smoothness in the piloting. The feedback is present and clearly defined with precision. After working the kite, you can immediately set it up in a static position to find a straight pull without any jerks. The section shows a perfect airflow and impressive control. When surfing, the Section reacts at the same speed as your brain. Instinctive, the kite is fast and handles with precision. The tuck/shock is effective and the Section can lose power as soon as the pilot applies the trim. Even if the wind gets up and you reduce the pull, the wing does not lose responsiveness or handling. This parameter impresses us, as the Section illustrates its high performance. If you change your support, the Section will adapt to it. By shifting the line attachment, you can create a more pronounced profile and orient your session towards freeride/freestyle. The wing is still responsive, but develops more power with a more recessed navigation in the window. At the jump call, the lift is direct and vertical. The lift is correct, but not exceptional. It goes up fast, but it also comes down fast. On the other hand, the kiteloops are engaged without apprehension. The Section turns on a short radius and immediately resumes to land smoothly. The relaunch of the kite can be done with a little finger and reassures each of your sessions. In short, the Core waveride is simply a wave killer.
